August slipped away

And just like that august is over! Taylor swift said it all. 

A good reminder that trials are for our benefit

He somehow knows when I get a treat... His little hand shoots up so fast out of his carseat for a drink or bite. Then he doesn't share

I dropped off zan at the nursery and sat in the steam room, hot tub, and then laid out by myself.  I think I should do this more but then remember how much I love being with zan and would rather play in the pool with him.

We said goodbye to our friends today. It was sad. Sherrikay's husband got a new job back in utah so they are moving back. They have only been here for like two years but I am thankful for the time I got with her.  I never though we would be so close after high school but she is really the best example and friend.

Zan is too cute

 Grandpa needed a new picture of zan for his wall so we had a couple photoshoots today. We love going up into the ammon foothills to do the hill walk.  It is a huge hill and its great exercise.  They have a park at the bottom we like.  the lion is the best to ride on 

We ended the day with bed snuggles. 

Zander’s day at the Zoo!!

 We went to the zoo with Taylor and Declan and it was a perfect overcast day. So many animals were out because it wasn’t too hot. We loved the monkeys and the snow leopard. They were fighting and we could hear the  growls that sounded like a cat. The tiger was also so fun to watch. 

We have been reading a lot of zoo books and so we would be prepared with all the animal sounds. He has the roar and the monkeys down pretty good 

All zan wanted was to hold Declan’s hand. He wasn’t having it.
